My refrigerator does not work?
Check if the cable is correctly plugged into the power outlet.

Check that the appliance is level. Level it with the adjustable feet, if necessary.

My dishwasher will not switch on?
Ensure that the cable is correctly plugged into the power outlet.
Check that the door is properly closed.
Check that the fuse is working in the plug.
Water does not flow into my dishwasher?
Check if the water tap is open.
Ensure that the supply hose is not buckled and has a clear route.
Water remains in my dishwasher?
Ensure that the drain hose is properly placed and has a clear route.
Clean all filters as described in the use and care manual.
My dishwasher does not dry dishes properly?
Check that the dishes are properly stacked in the machine.
Increase the amount of rinse aid indicator and/or refill the rinse aid dispenser.
Do not empty your dishwasher immediately after washing.
Open the door slightly so that the steam can escape.
Begin with unloading the dishwasher when the dishes are only hand warm.
Empty the lower rack first. This prevents water from dripping off dishes in the upper rack.
In short period programs, the wash temperature and therefore the cleaning performance is lower. Choose a program with a longer wash time.
Evaporation of water is more difficult with cutlery and/or dishes with worn surfaces, which are not suitable for dishwashers.
My dishes are not clean?
Check that the dishes are properly stacked in the machine.
Select a program that washes at a higher temperature or for a longer time period.
Check that the spray arms can move freely.
Clean all filters as described in the manual.
Check if all filters are placed properly.

Do not overload the racks.
Store detergent in a dry location. Close the lid of the container securely.

Select a program that washes at a higher temperature or takes a longer amount of time.
Bleachers in cleaners lose their efficiency when stored under unfavorable conditions. Store detergents in a dry location. Close the lid of the container securely.
My dishwasher leaves calcium streaks and a misty appearance on glassware?
Increase the amount of rinse aid and/or refill the rinse aid dispenser.
Ask you water supplier for local hardness in grains per gallon or ppm. Use a higher phosphate content detergent for hard water.
Check whether the lid of the salt container is firmly closed. Use the funnel to pour in special salt. Begin the Rinse and Hold program right after filling in the salt. After the program is complete, check whether the lid may have loosened.
My dishwasher leaves a milky appearance or a rainbow on glassware (glass corrosion)?
Use a smaller amount of detergent.
Compare the water hardness level setting on the dishwasher with the stated values from the local water supplier.
When water hardness is low (below 7 American degrees of hardness or 106 part per million), do not use salt, even if your dishwasher has a water softener.
The pattern on my glasses, china and porcelain fade?
Glasses, porcelain and cutlery of this type are not suitable for dishwashers.
My dishwasher leaves rust stains on and destructs the surface of cutlery?
Salt can destroy metal surfaces and cause rust damage. Check whether the lid of the salt container is firmly closed. Use the funnel to pour in special salt.
Begin the Rinse and Hold program right after filling in the salt. After the program is complete, check whether the lid may have loosened.
Remove coarse dirt under running water and carry out the Rinse and Hold program every 2 days without detergent.
Check the grounding of the system. Static electricity may eat holes into metal and cause irreparable damages to surfaces.
Rust on such items cannot be avoided. Cutlery or dishes of this type are not suitable for dishwashers.

My dishwasher has an unpleasant smell?
The smell of a new machine disappears after a few wash cycles with detergent.
Clean all filters as described in the use and care manual.
Remove coarse dirt under running water and carry out the Rinse and Hold program every 2 days without detergent.
Regularly clean the door gasket with a damp cloth to remove food particles and other debris. Use a gentle household cleaner for the outside and the door seals, and rinse thoroughly.
Detergent residue remains in the dispenser?
Ensure that the detergent dispenser is dry before filling it.
Pour the detergent in just before washing.
When loading the dishwasher, take care to ensure that you do not accidentally block detergent cup with large dishware or utensils.
Store detergents in a dry location. Close the lid of the container carefully.
Clean the spray arms as described in the use and care manual.
Make sure spray arms rotate freely.
Terminating the cycle early can leave detergent residue in the dispenser.
How do I set the clock on my range?
Switch off at the mains and leave for at least 30 min to allow memory to clear. Then follow the setup procedure outlined in the user instructions. Please note; the main oven will not work without the clock set.
After installation parts of my range are not working, why is this?
Was the product installed by a qualified electrician/ Gas Safety Registered Engineer? After correct installation has been verified & if problem persists please refer to our Customer Service department on (800) 459-9848.
Can I convert my gas range to LPG?
Several of our ranges can be converted to LPG. Please contact an authorized service provider.
How can I clean my range cooktops?
The cleaning of sealed range cooktops should be done when they are cold. Wipe the range cooktops with a little household non-scratch cleaning cream following the circular grooved pattern on the range cooktop. Afterwards, wipe with a damp clean cloth, making sure that all the cleaner has been removed. Then dry by switching on for a few minutes. Apply a thin coat of cooking oil from time to time to provide a protective coating.
What types of pans can I use on my ceramic cooktop?
Use steel or heat-resistant glass pots. Do not use pots that have concave or convex bottoms. Do not use aluminum-bottomed pots. Do not use pots made from Boron glass or Pyrex, which are generally oven type containers.
What kind of pans should I use on my ceramic cooktop with maximum efficiency?
For maximum efficiency, you can use pans that match the diameters of the elements. If the pan is too small energy is wasted.
How should I clean a ceramic cooktop?
Ceramic cooktops should be cleaned with a wet cloth while still warm using special cleaning products.
Cleaning should be carried out using a clean damp soapy cloth.
To remove stubborn stains or food deposits use a glass scraper. These can also be used in order to get rid of easily-removable dirt deposits when cooking plates are still warm. Remember that the blade should be sharp and replace worn blades. Do not run the blade along the edge of the range cooktop.
There is water in my washer?
There may be some water in your appliance when you receive it. This is from the quality control process and is normal. It is not harmful to your washer. You should run a “sanitary” cycle without any clothes and laundry additives before the first use of your washer.
My washer does not fill with water or wash after the program is selected and the 'Start/Pause/Cancel' button is pressed?
Check that the water faucets are turned on fully.
Water inlet hose may be folded. Check the water inlet hose and straighten if necessary.
Water inlet strainers might be clogged. Clean the water inlet strainers.
Call an electrician and have the power outlet / circuit breaker / fuse checked to make sure there is power at the outlet.
The washer might be unplugged. Plug the power cord to a live electrical outlet.
The drain hose may be folded. Check the drain hose and straighten if necessary.
Washer may be in hand wash, wools or soak cycle. Wait for a short time and tumbling will start.
Drain pump filter or drain itself may be clogged. Clean the drain pump filter as instructed in the use and care manual. If the house drain pipes are clogged, call a plumber for assistance.
Door may not be closed properly. Close the loading door.
My washer does not drain water or drains water slowly?
The drain hose may be folded. Check the drain hose and straighten if necessary.
Drain pump filter or drain itself may be clogged. Clean the drain pump filter as instructed in the use and care manual.
The water being taken in is directly discharged?
Connect the drain hose as described in the user manual.
My washer stopped shortly after the program cycle started?
The washer can stop temporarily due to low voltage. It will resume operating when the voltage is back to the normal level.
There is water coming from the bottom of my washer?
Inlet hose connections may be leaking. Be sure the strainers and rubber seals of the water inlet hoses are solid and securely fitted.
End of the drain hose may be loosely inserted into the waste pipe or sink. Tightly attach the drain hose to the waste pipe or sink as instructed in the installation manual.
House drain may be clogged. If the house drain pipes are clogged, call a plumber for assistance.
Filter cap of the drain pump may not be properly fitted. Make sure that the pump filter cap is tightly closed. Hose connections inside the washer may be leaking. Check internal hose connections (e.g. dispenser hoses, drain system).
My washer fills with water when a process is cancelled?
There may be hot water inside the washer. For safety reasons, water should be cycled in and out a couple times after cancelled.
Time delay function does not work?
Door may not be closed properly. Close the loading door.
The door will not open?
Water level might be above the lower level of the door. Run “Drain”, “Spin”, or “Drain & Spin” programs.
Washer might be heating up the water or it may be at the spinning cycle. Wait until the process is over.
Due to electrical safety mechanism, the door can only be opened a few minutes after the program has stopped. Wait until the process is over.
The door will not lock?
Make sure that the door is properly closed, and it is aligned with the lock switch.
Check for any bulky or large items obstructing the door to be closed.
Drying process takes too much time?

Machine does not switch on or the program does not start. Machine is not activated when set?
Make sure that the machine is plugged in.
Make sure that the loading door is properly closed.
Make sure that the program has been set and it is not in "Pause" mode.
Deactivate the childproof lock.
Make sure that the condenser cover and the red lock is closed securely.
Program has been interrupted without any cause?
Make sure that the loading door is properly closed.
Press "Start/Pause/Cancel" button to start the program.
Drum light does not come on. (for models equipped with a lamp)?
Make sure that the machine is On.
Call the authorized service to replace the bulb.
“End / Anticrease” LED flashes?
Turn off the machine and take out the laundry.
“End / Anticrease” LED is on?
Turn off the machine and take out the laundry.
The “Drying” LED flashes?
Turn off the machine and take out the laundry. Call your authorized service.
Laundry comes out wet at the end of drying?
Clean the lint filter.
Do not overload the machine.
